My Background

I am a biological scientist by background and occupation, and have taken up wildlife photography as a hobby in mid-life - but with a great passion. In part, this has been stimulate by extensive travel for work related reasons to many different countries

Photography as Communication

My travels have taken me to many different locations that often exhibit great species diversity. The beauty of these habitats has stimulated the desire to capture memories of both the birds and mammals in their natural environments and the people who live in or near them.
